LocationLocationThe workshop will be held at the Campus de Móstoles (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos), which is located 15 km northwest of the city of Madrid. The campus covers an area of 44 hectares and it is well connected with Móstoles, Madrid, and other University Campus (Alcorcón, Fuenlabrada, and Vicálvaro). The next picture illustrates the strucute of the campus. The meeting venue (in Edificio Departamental II) is highlighted with a red dot. The metro and railway stops are represented by their corresponding logos, respectively. From the airport to Madrid:The Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport is well-connected with the rest of the city. You have several options in order to get to the city centre. Firstly, you can take the regional train from the railway station at Terminal 4 towards Atocha station (you can check the schedule and prices of this service in this link). In case your filight lands in a different terminal (1, 2, or 3), you can take an internal bus in Barajas airport to reach Terminal 4. The price of the ticket is about 3 euros. It is also possible to take the Metro (line L8) from any terminal to Madrid (you can check the schedule and prices of this service in this link). The price of the ticket is about 5 euros. Public transportation to Campus de Móstoles:Campus de Móstoles is directly connected to bus, railway and metro stations. We strongly recommend the use of Metro since the "Universidad Rey Juan Carlos" station (line L12) is 20 meters appart from the main entrance of the University campus. However, you can also reach the campus by local train to "Móstoles - El Soto" station (line C-5), but you will need 15 minutes walking from the station to reach the campus. There are also some buses (L-522, 523, 525, 526 and 529H) with a stop near the main entrance.
